This will probably be my last 2013 painting as I'll be busy with Christmas arrangements and visiting family and friends. So I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! xx
The idea of this painting is not originally mine, I was inspired by a painting from an artist that I admire a lot. I just love the composition and the combination of colours! This is my Christmas present for a relative.
The other day I bought some red apples and was so impressed by their colours that I had to put brush to canvas! I added the lime so the painting has more colour. I hope you like it! x
This painting's title is a pun, playing with the words fan and fun, whose pronunciations are quite similar. Dancing flamenco with a fan is definitely fun!
I just can't get tired of painting dancers!
There are so many different perspectives and postures that you can paint in flamenco dancing.
In this one, I wanted to capture the dancer spinning around.
I hope you all enjoy this. x
I couldn't resist painting a couple of tomatoes that I personally picked up at my parents' house. Their colours, their shape and their smell were amazing. It is a shame we can't paint smells! After the shot, these tomatoes were the key ingredient of my mum's delicious gazpacho.

Back by popular demand, here is a flamenco dancer playing castanets. This time I painted it on a bigger canvas, I hope you enjoy the result! With this painting, I would like to wish you all a lovely summer holidays, I will be back in August with more ideas! Have fun! xx
I was so happy to receive this lovely picture from one of my buyers. I did this painting as a commission last year. I loved the landscape and now the painting looks great framed.
I have been experimenting with painting the same thing from different angles and backgrounds. I had a bouquet of flowers at home and picked some of the flowers to arrange this composition. I hope you guys like it.
I was given a beautiful bouquet of flowers as one of my presents for my birthday this week, and couldn't resist painting a couple of daisies that were in it!
A couple of days ago I posted a painting of a vase of cala flowers. I still felt like dedicating a whole canvas to this beautiful flower: its simplicity, shape and colours.
Most of you will know what 'sangria'means. Back home they normally prepare it in a ceramic jug, so it keeps cool for longer. I like making mine with lots of pieces of orange and apple with a touch of cinnamon! Yum! Perfect for a sunny day :)
Back home, my family has a big garden, which is home to some hens and roosters. I have been brought up looking at how my dad takes care of them. I have tons of pictures of hens, chicken and specially roosters. Just love their multicoloured feathers -a challenge to paint!
I enjoyed my recent trip to the Royal Deeside so much that it gave me so many ideas for painting. I was amazed by the views, the river Dee, the mountains, the wild animals: especially, highland cattle (hence, this painting). Scotland is beautiful!
It's been a while since I last painted on a palette. The other day the idea of a meadow of tulips crossed my mind and I was curious of how it would look on a palette, rather than a canvas.
The painting is still wet, but soon I will post another picture of how it will look displayed on a plate stand.
