Back home, my family has a big garden, which is home to some hens and roosters. I have been brought up looking at how my dad takes care of them. I have tons of pictures of hens, chicken and specially roosters.  Just love their multicoloured feathers -a challenge to paint!

I enjoyed my recent trip to the Royal Deeside so much that it gave me so many ideas for painting. I was amazed by the views, the river Dee, the mountains, the wild animals: especially, highland cattle (hence, this painting).  Scotland is beautiful!

Meadow of tulips

It's been a while since I last painted on a palette. The other day the idea of a meadow of tulips crossed my mind and I was curious of how it would look on a palette, rather than a canvas. 

The painting is still wet, but soon I will post another picture of how it will look displayed on a plate stand.
